RESURRECTION: The Rebirth of Calvary Chapel
An Art Exhibition Featuring New Work by Peter Brandes & Maja Lisa Engelhardt

As Biola University celebrates the rededication of Calvary Chapel—including monumental new stained glass and sculptural works by internationally acclaimed Danish artists Peter Brandes and Maja Lisa Engelhardt—The Earl & Virginia Green Art Gallery is proud to present RESURRECTION: The Rebirth of Calvary Chapel. This gallery exhibition features original artwork by Peter and Maja, examining the development of featured motifs expressed in their independent studio works across a variety of media (drawing, painting, printmaking, stained glass, and sculpture) and highlighting common interests in the tension between narrative and abstraction, the materiality and immateriality of light, and themes of transformation and new life.

The exhibition will be on view September 7 - October 5, 2018.
