As the CCCA enters its second decade, we have plans to expand the reach of CCCA while maintaining our mission to foster new scholarship, projects and events that explore and strengthen the relatioships between Christianity, Culture and the Arts. Our vision for future growth includes the following:
One of the most important projects currently undertaken by the CCCA are the Advent and Lent Projects, each of which have been produced yearly over the past ten years, offering a free mix of daily devotionals, scripture, art, music and poetry that are curated and written to complement and inform each other. We currently have over 50,000 subscribers to these projects, but would like to expand the project in important ways:
We aim to move toward a larger online presence that allows for our deep catalog of projects, videos, essays, interviews and more to be accessed by more people. This will include:
We hope to commission new creative and scholarly work from artist, poets, composers and authors who align with our mission and will bring beauty, truth and goodness to a world in desperate need of all.
We aim to create a group of interested patrons, creatives, academics and others who will help guide the Center as we move toward these future visions. This circle of friends will be advisory, but will also be offered content and experiences exclusive to the Friend's circle, such as community events, expanded devotional content, priority access to performances, and more. All donors who give over $1,000 will automatically be invited to join the circle. However, we want to hear from everyone who would like to be involved, so regardless of your ability to give, please use the link below to reach out and express interest in being involved or staying in the loop:
