Gary Gould is an educator, studio musician, bandleader and special event performer. As a single performer, he blends live performance with custom-made accompaniment tracks to achieve a crisp, full band sound creating a unique atmosphere at special events. As an added plus to Gary's smooth jazz saxophone music, Gary may add the following musical styles: klezmer clarinet, played in the traditional Jewish style, and the Celtic sound of the Irish penny whistle. In his 1-man concerts, Gary performs a variety of themed shows for schools, community groups and charity organizations. Gould is a music instructor at Savannah School of Music in Yorba Linda, CA. and at the Orange County School of the Arts in Santa Ana, where he teaches improvisation, theory, jazz combo and individual instruction. He is currently a featured soloist with the Laguna Concert Band on saxophone, clarinet and Irish penny whistle.
