Reader’s Rites: The Narrative Impulse

Readers' Rites, an event founded about nine years ago, is a twice-a-year celebration of Biola writers. The event is almost always held at the university art gallery and features the writing of students mostly, although faculty and staff are invited to participate as well. This year, in honor of the year of storytelling, writers will be invited to submit for possible event inclusion stories (non-fiction as well as fiction) and narrative poems.

A call for submissions goes out two to three weeks before the event. The event usually lasts about an hour.
