Lynnette Ball McGee enjoys a varied career as a musician.  As an organ recitalist, Lynnette has performed numerous concerts, including the Organ Alive! National Conference held at the First Congregational Church in Los Angeles.  Her organ duet CD, Double Fantasy, has been heard on the radio broadcast of Pipedreams.  In addition to her many organ solo performances, she has also performed with the Aliso Viejo Symphony, Corona del Mar Baroque Festival, California Concert Artists, CSUF Symphony Orchestra, Voces Master Chorale, Redondo Beach Baroque Festival, the Southern California Brass Ensemble, Saddleback Master Chorale, Irvine Valley College Orchestra, and at the Henry and Renee Segerstrom Concert Hall.  Lynnette has also held positions as accompanist at Biola University, Concordia University, and Irvine Valley College.

Lynnette received an organ scholarship to California State University, Fullerton, where she earned her Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees in Organ Performance.  She graduated with highest honors and received the Outstanding Performer in Keyboard Studies award.  Her organ teachers include Esther Jones, Frances Nobert, Leslie Spelman,  Burton Karson and Leonard Smith.  Other studies include master classes in England with Colin Walsh, John Hosking, and Gillian Weir.  In France, she participated in master classes with Thomas Ospital, Benjamin Steens, Beatrice Piertot, and Louis Robilliard.  She is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, the Music Teacher’s Association of California and is a Colleague of the American Guild of Organists.   

Lynnette currently serves as the Director of Music and Organist at the First Presbyterian Church in Fullerton.  She also maintains a private piano and organ studio and is active as a freelance musician.
