What is sacred space? And how does it relate to art, theology, and the life of faith? For this year's art symposium, Biola’s 2012 Visionary-in-Residence Roberta Ahmanson brought together influential artists and thinkers to examine ways that sacred space is experienced, created, shaped, and discussed today. Presenters included theologian Ben Quash, philosopher Nicholas Wolterstorff, art historian Elizabeth Lev, urban geographer Joel Kotkin, musician Ruth Naomi Floyd, art professor Dayton Castleman, art professor Jonathan A. Anderson, artist Linnea Spransy, artist Anna M. R. Freeman, philanthropist Roberta Green Ahmanson, and many others.
