Roberta Green Ahmanson

Roberta Green Ahmanson is an author and philanthropist whose public activities are focused on the role of religion in public life, the importance of knowing history to understand the present, and the vital role the arts play in shaping human experience. Time Magazine has listed Roberta and her husband, Howard Fieldstead Ahmanson, Jr., as two of the 25 Most Influential Evangelicals in America today. She heads the Board of Directors at American Bible Society’s Museum of Biblical Arts in New York City and gives lectures at the International Arts Movement annual conference also in New York. The Ahmansons have worked closely with the Orange County Rescue Mission to create the Village of Hope, a vibrant housing facility for homeless families in Tustin. Mrs. Ahmanson chose Sanctuary & Sacred Space as the theme she wanted Biola to explore together with her.
