The Art Department and CCCA are excited to be hosting New York gallerist and curator Josie Browne, who will be spending three days with us on October 4-6. Josie was the director of Max Protetch Gallery for over 15 years. During that time, she gave many well-known Chinese contemporary artists their first solo shows in the USA. Since 2011, Josie has continued to discover and represent artists from throughout Asia.

If you missed Josie's lecture on October 4th, you are welcome to attend a reprise lecture about what's happening in the contemporary art world now. 

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 6 | 4:30-5:45 PM | ROOD 51
Josie will be meeting with the combined Senior Seminar and Culmination art classes to talk about Professional Practices.
This is open to ALL ART STUDENTS who would like to attend.

SCHEDULED INDIVIDUAL CRITS/CONVERSATIONS
Crits and conversations are open to current students, art alumni, and art faculty members. You may sign up for either a one half-hour appointment or two consecutive half-hour appointments. These will take place all three days of Josie's visit. Please sign up in the ART OFFICE by filling in your name, etc. If you do not have an office or studio space, there will be a space provided by the Art Department for your appointment.
