This is event is part of the annual SCORR Conference which is a national two-day conference where students, staff and faculty from Christian universities across the country join together to celebrate diversity within the body of Christ. This year's conference is on Friday and Saturday, February 21 and 22, 2014 in Sutherland Auditorium. Conference attendees will engage in dialogue and instruction that seeks transformational growth, resulting in the building of God’s Kingdom on earth. The SCORR theme this year is on the biblical concept of “Shalom.” A rich concept that is found throughout the scriptures, shalom signifies community, interdependence, vibrancy and human thriving. In Jeremiah 29:11 the Lord speaks to his people, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says the Lord, "thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give a future and a hope.” The Hebrew word for peace here is “Shalom.” Here we read how Shalom is our Lord’s will for us; it is a reality embedded in the Kingdom of God.

Koshin Taiko is unique in it exclusive ue of Okedou "rope tightened" drums, which have been handcrafted by the group. Together the members bring a spirit-filled energy into each performance.
